2017 Scholarships (International) - now open!

Master of Integrated Water Management (Australia)





The International WaterCentre (IWC) is offering several scholarships for high calibre candidates who want to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM) commencing in Semester 1, 2017. These prestigious scholarships will be awarded on merit to candidates who clearly demonstrate potential as future water leaders.





Scholarships available


• For international candidates, up to three scholarships including:


– one full tuition scholarship for a future water leader from a selected country in North America, Europe or parts of Asia*; and


– up to two full tuition and full living costs scholarships for future water leaders in priority countries in Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.*

• For domestic candidates, up to two full tuition scholarships for full-time or part-time/distance study of the MIWM program.



Master of Integrated Water Management (MIWM)


The MIWM is designed to equip future water leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to create innovative, whole-of-watercycle solutions to complex water management issues.


The program is delivered at The University of Queensland in Australia (ranked in the world’s top 50 - QS World University Rankings 2015/16).




Eligibility requirements


Scholarship candidates must:


1. Have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally-recognised institution


2. Have at least two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering) relevant to the program


3. International candidates must also demonstrate English Language Proficiency - e.g. IELTS, TOEFL or PTE test or any alternative proof of English Language Proficiency as per The University of Queensland’s Policy.
